Especially designed for locations with access control or security gate, the CargoKiosk Yard Access module can show pre-assigned or expected drivers, check driver ID’s, activate the trucking door management system and give automated access via Automatic Number plate recognition (ANPR) and QR Readers at facility entry/exit points which interface with the driver app and kiosk printouts.
The self-service kiosk is the centrepoint of the process. Drivers, visitors or temporary employees can register themselves here. Additional information on the visit is collected, (un)loading manifests can be printed and the door management procedure can be initiated. This information can interface with Cargo Management systems to upload shipments and driver information already known, drastically reducing office processing time.
The Cargo Office provides full operational control. Manifests can be modified, missing shipments added, and doors assigned using the built-in door management system. Additional information can be sent to drivers via text messages or displayed on the queue monitors.
A final check can be done in the warehouse and the loading manifests can be printed. Internal access through doors and barriers can be managed using (QR) readers in the facility. Queue monitors give information on the upcoming drivers and the staff can change or assign doors here as well. The arrive and depart timestamps for the jobs are stored. Drivers are automatically informed via SMS about their position in the processing queue, as well as when and to which door they should proceed.
The devices can be branded (hardware and software) and are fully customized to fit individual requirements of the company.
